About
Jamal Henderson is an American actor, model, poet, and producer. He is most known for his role as Davonte in the series “Loyalty” written & produced by Christina Cooper; available on Amazon Prime. He has played the lead role in the short drama “The Debt” alongside Eric Roberts, Tom Sizemore, and Quinton Aaron. Jamal is currently filming a feature film “South Central Love” which reprises his infamous role of Davonte from “Loyalty”. He also stars in “Missing Persons” that is currently making its rounds through the Film Festival Circuit, and he is in post-production of his own short film, “Past and Presence” that he wrote, acted, and produced. He is co-producing a new horror anthology series, “Macabre” with Season 1 currently available to view and Season 2 in development. Consistently perfecting his craft while refining his skills Henderson has been studying over the past 3 years at the Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio in Hollywood, California. In addition to interspersed audition workshops from various studios and teachers.

When he’s not filming or producing you can find him in front of the camera as a successful model. Jamal has appeared in GQ, Esquire, and has shot for major brands such as Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, DSW, Nike, Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Sketchers, Stacy Adams and many more.
Jamal, a lover of poetry, is an avid daily writer. You can find excerpts of his poetry across his social media platforms penned under the name “RHEN”. He is currently working on turning his poetry into a YouTube series and a book. He is a former college track athlete where he competed as a high jumper and 400-meter sprinter. Throughout his childhood, he grew up with a love for martial arts and the Asian cinema that spread throughout the western culture. He maintains his athleticism with the same sentiment for martial arts. In Henderson’s spare time, he trains in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Wing Chun. He has his sights set on one day opening a fitness studio as well as a production company.
